An internationally licensed architect, designer, researcher, and academic, Toussaint has an extensive career comprising completed projects and competitions across multiple typologies including public spaces, urban projects, cultural buildings, mix-used, high rise, corporate, residential, hospitality, educational, and sports buildings. He has worked across a range of countries, including the United States of America, the Dominican Republic, Argentina, Chile, Uruguay, Argentina, Japan, and the Republic of Korea.
His architectural approach is rooted in understanding the built environment as a human experience throughout the exploration of contemporary aesthetics coupled with critical and lateral design thinking, and is supported by a polytechnical foundation of building systems, material, and construction.
Over the past 15 years, he has been developing an extensive knowledge of BIM systems for project delivery, computational design, digital fabrication, and design process workflow, which integrated coding, high performance, complex geometry, and performative simulations in all design phases.
His career has pivoted between the practical, research, and academic fields, allowing him to build and intertwine multiple experiences. He has led research investigations and architectural design courses including on structural design, construction systems, applied math, building morphology, and digital design tools in the most prestigious architecture schools in Buenos Aires.
Toussaint Holds a Master of Architectural Advanced Design (Faculty of Architecture Design and Urbanism, Buenos Aires University, Argentina), Post-Grad Diploma in Parametric Design and Digital Fabrication (University of Palermo, Argentina), a Bachelor of Architecture (Faculty of Engineer and Architecture, Autonomous University of Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic), an Associate Diploma in Computer Science (Faculty of Engineering and Architecture, Autonomous University of Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic).
